I wanted to thank you all for your comments on my last post. It was nice to know that I have so many friends who got fired up by those comments. I didn't know it was such a hot topic. I do want to clarify my thoughts however. I wrote that because a friend of mine indicated she did feel pressure. After speaking with her I started finding elementary school friends (and others) who I haven't been in contact with in years and I found that they had quite a few kids. I was quite surprised and my thoughts got rolling on the frustrations of my friend. No one had bugged me about it or made me feel pressured. Even if they wanted to pressure me, Kent and I are not about to worry about having a child due to external pressure. We love our life and feel good about the choices we have made. It is also interesting to me that many people have such different paths in their lives. I do compare myself to others that is second nature, but I try and keep that in perspective. I try to see it for what it is worth...it's just a difference, not good, not bad.
Besides all that if I was going to feel pressured I would have felt pressure about 4 1/2 years ago when Kent's little brother and his wife who were married only months before us had their first child...as you noticed Braxton is no where near 4 1/2. I think we are ok with whatever pressure is put upon us. lol Thanks again!

i wrote my comment on the other post about the human race. I shoudl totally blog about it on my blog too.
Interesting thoughts. I've had them too on the whole race issue. I'm not worried though. I don't even know if we'll be having more than 2. 2 girls seems like PLENTY right now to me. :)
