The Lord Loveth...

I just needed to share my perfect day after my previous blog about life getting me down. Monday I woke up said prayers and read my scripture first thing in the morning. Then I had the most healthy breakfast of eggs and toast and a banana (i know such a girl thing to list your food lol). After breakfast Braxton and I got ready to take him to the little dance class my friend is teaching for free. Although I knew I didn't have very much time I ran to the shoe store to see if I had purchased the right shoe size on my red shoes...I was happy to find out that I had. Since I had about 15 minutes I decided to hurry and run to get Kent and I some new garments. I returned just in time to pick up Braxton. Before returning home I stopped off at my friends house to use their treadmill. Ahhh it was the BEST workout. I sweat and worked my body well.

We hurried home in time to get Braxton some lunch and me a shower and then the babies came. No usually when the babies come my life gets difficult, but this day was like I said perfect! I laid the youngest down for her nap and the older of the two looked tired as she lay down on the floor. She doesn't like to be alone so she feels like you are punishing her when you try and put her to sleep so I had an idea. I turned on soft music, laid a blanket over her here in the front room and waited for her to fall asleep while I quietly did things with Braxton and ate lunch. She was out. YES!!! Two babies sleeping! Braxton and I then went in to clean up his room and then he helped me with the laundry. Of course because the babies we doing well the grandma came early which left us time to get a thing or two done before Kent came home.

To top the whole night off Kent decided we needed to go to a movie for family night. So we went to see The Princess and the Frog which was SO much fun to watch Braxton dance and enjoy the songs. As much as I enjoyed movies as a kid I have to say it is so much more fun to watch your kids enjoy a movie as a parent! In addition to all these wonderful things Monday the sun shone brightly. It may have been very cold due to the wind, but it was a beautiful day of sunshine and joy and I thank the Lord for granting me a much needed nearly perfect day!
