Veteran's Day, Birthday's and Thanks in November 2024

Veteran's Day Parade
It was very touching to have my dad attend the Veterans' Day Parade as Marshal's guest.
I think we were all very impressed by the power of this event!

Cort's Birthday
We took Cort out to Texas Roadhouse for his birthday dinner and, of course, had him sit on the saddle. He had cake and ice cream, birthday decor, and we're going to take the family to see Wicked, and we bought him Chicken Bakes. He wasn't too thrilled about the chicken bakes (we thought it was a comical gift since he didn't give us many hints), but overall, I felt like it was a good day.
The fruit-topped cake was delicious!

Thanksgiving
We stayed home for Thanksgiving this year because Braxton was coming home from school, and we thought it would be good to let him be at home. We enjoyed delicious pies (made too many) and ate our tasty, typical Thanksgiving dinner. It was so nice to have him home with us!

Life in November
It was fun going to Kesler's championship football game! Time with the Robison sisters is always fun!... Cort and Marshal have been getting along lately. They love building forts and roadblocks together... Marshal and Amelia looked very nice as they were heading out to the symphony for a field trip... Marshal and a classmate were enjoying being monkeys. lol

I hopped on Facebook one night and saw that our neighbors had posted about a free grandfather clock that they no longer had space for. I asked Kent if he wanted it, and he jumped at the chance. It is a nice addition to our front room and an incredibly generous gift...Since I had an actual cute photo of Kent and me (with him smiling), I had to share. I need to take more of these... Oops! Kent was walking up the stairs and lost his footing. He landed with his backside in the wall. It left a nice-sized hole... The many faces of Cort... The many faces of Marshal.

He is the funniest kid! I love that he wanted to show me the clouds! 💖

It's fascinating when you realize how a little bit of shade will keep the snow from melting away... I love studying the scriptures with my boys!... Do to circumstances that I can only believe were orchestrated by the Lord, Braxton took an online test that revealed he is likely neurodivergent. This explains a lot about some of the struggles and also gifts he has... Braxton gave me some of his cards from graduation. Thankfully, I went through them and discovered that he had some gift cards and money that were never opened. Yay for accidental paydays!

I am always happy to make my voice known... as always, I may have voted for a person, but my hope truly is in the lamb!...a little election humor... it appears there is more to January 6th than meets the eye (if this post is true)... that's one fat quail!

Be Real
