Another December to Remember 2021

Temple Square With the Youth
We were able to go to temple square with the youth and we had a good time. I thought it was cool to see how they told the story of Christ's birth on the ceiling of the tabernacle.

Lot's a fun nativities to see.

It was cool to see the work going on to restore the Salt Lake City Temple.

Left Side: A bunch of group photos and beautiful pictures of the lights. We had Bishop (Collin) Ferre, Me, Brandon Broschinsky, Daniel Broschinsky, Jack Loveridge, Katherine Brooks, Makinzee Loveridge, Lexi Loveridge, Madison Loveridge, Alli Ferre, Becca Ferre, Evan Brooks, Braxton (Robison), Gio Garcia, William Brooks, Ryan Benedict, Tyson Butterfield, Brigham Blackburn, Truman Blackburn, Rebekah Blackburn, Laura Garcia, Jadeyn White, Bella Garcia, and I can't tell who the people in the bottom right in for sure. Top Left Middle: Laura Garcia and I with the Family Search building in the background. #nerds. lol Top Right: Cute Becca Ferre. Bottom Middle: Alli Ferre, Jadeyn White and Bella Garcia. Bottom Right: Braxton and I taking a selfie.

December Snows

There is nothing like a good snow storm!

Dusty even got a dusting of snow, and Marshal got to work shoveling the snow.

Braxton Christmas
Choir Concert
"Candles in the Window" from Home Alone
from the Belle's Voix Choir

Braxton's choir, Take Ten, singing
"O Come O Come Emmanuel"

I loved the fun pajamas and the sayings on the shirts. Also, I know I am a creepy stalker for taking the photo on the left, but does this not look just like Bernie Sanders? LOL

The Concert Choir with
"Feliz Navidad"

Belle's Voix with
"Santa Baby"

"Aurora Borealis"
by Take Ten

The Madrigals Men with
"Deck the Halls Fa la la la"

The Madrigals singing
"Fruitcake"

"Elf" by the Take Ten Choir

"Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)"

Kunz Christmas Party
Top Left: One of the twins over zoom at the Kunz party. Top Right: Our Family Christmas Train. Middle Far Left: Dunne Family Train. Middle Left: This was a gift that Liesel decided to make for Kent and Jonathan when I sent her a photo of the shirt and told her this was our husbands. Middle Right: Robison Train. Middle Far Right: The entire Robison Family Train. Bottom Far Left: Close up of Dunne's Family Train. Bottom Middle Left: Brian's Family Train. Bottom Middle Right: A cool star on the mountain in Pleasant Grove. Bottom Far Right: Also Robison Family Train

Temple Square with Our Family
We had a great time as a family at City Center Mall.
The boys loved watching the fish in the river that runs through the center of the mall.
We also had fun buying a pump for someone else from the Giving Machine.

We enjoyed seeing temple square together.

We even enjoyed going in and checking out the conference center
and of course seeing the movie in the tabernacle!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
This year we decided to add a visit to Draper City Park to our Christmas Eve Lights fun.

They did a great job of lighting the park!

The house on the top and middle left was by far our favorite. We happened to see it just off of 90th South. It was so classy and very well done! We also thought the house on the bottom left was very cool. We ran out of time to make cookies for Santa but luckily we had cookie dough left over from Braxton's Choir Fundraiser so Santa didn't go without. I mostly let the kids decorate the tree this year and as much as I used to love my perfectly decorated tree I kind of love what my boys come up with even more. The big box had our new sleeping bags and I love my new cozy socks!!!

Marshal was very happy about his new nerf gun with a scope!

Cort loved his new bedset and Braxton enjoyed the karaoke machine!

Life in December
Top Left & Bottom Left: Cort and I had the opportunity to play Silent Night with the bell choir at the Ward Christmas Party. Top Right: The Primary put on a nativity scene. Center, Center Right, and Bottom Right: Me trying on Braxton's choir hat. I think I wear it well! lol Bottom Right: Cort's Christmas Choir Concert.

Top Left: Cort was invited to participate in the MathMatters 2021 Contest. Even though Cort didn't win any prizes and said he didn't feel he did all that well I was proud of him to being asked to participate and then doing his best. Here he is with Mrs. Newbold and the other winners from his school. Top Middle: Kent bought me new shoes. I couldn't decide between the green pair and the gray pair so he bought me both. #spoiled. Top Right: Liesel posted this funny photo of Rachel and every time I see it I crack up so I stole it just so I can remember how funny she is. Center Left: My handsome boys just hanging out by the tree. Center: Marshal enjoyed helping the elf do different tasks like reading books and then pretending that the elf did it by himself. Bottom Left: We let the kids give us suggestions for Nintendo Switch Games they want. Bottom Middle: I joined in on the elf fun for Marshal. Bottom Right: Cort got to be CEO of KSL at Biz Town. I heard he did a really good job. I wish I would have gone, but they indicated I wouldn't be with Cort anyway so I passed.

We redid the upstairs bathroom and I liked how it turned out, but then Kent found out that the flooring we got from Ashley and Ozzie wouldn't be good in a bathroom so we decided we are going to have to replace it with the right flooring. At least for now it is done and looks a whole lot better. Not to mention Kent now knows how to do the floor. Marshal took the opportunity to hide behind the doors from the bathroom. Braxton loved pushing around this long pipe through the store! NOT! lol

Top Left: I put this photo of Christ on my phone as my wallpaper. Kent saw it and asked if it was my boyfriend. I decided I needed to change my wallpaper. Top Middle: I saw Danalee Kanaras post this photo of our old neighbor Jack Mackay and took a screenshot because I do miss his kind and friendly spirit. When she texted me and told me that she and Mark took his name through the temple my heart was so happy. I don't know what kept him from church before he passed, but I know that he will be grateful for that choice! Top Right: On that spiritual note...how ironic that this was the photo I posted next to it. I did find it funny though. Bottom Left & Bottom Middle: I really enjoy the things I see posted by Josh Redd. I found this information interesting. Bottom Right: I told Kent he needed this mug. He only laughed at me. lol

I found this recipe from Grandma Holdaway and while it sounds a little frightening I also kind of want to try it because it's Grandma's recipe. lol

We learned that Braxton's love languages are Quality Time and Words of Affirmation.
Turns out our big grown up teenager likes to hear that we love him more often.

I thought this was a great quote!
