Wed 30 *Braxton and I thoroughly enjoyed joining his little friend Baylee at her 3rd birthday party. It is so nice to have such great friends with kids the same ages.
Tue 29 *I am thankful I have been able to make some delicious spaghetti sauce because of my great sister sharing her skills and her recipe.
Mon 28 *I am thankful for a wonderful two years of learning and growth I received at Eddie Bauer. I am also thankful to be at a place in life that I can move on to my new adventure of selling Discovery Toys.
Sun 27 *I am thankful for the primary girl who bore her testimony and shared how excited she was to get the packet on prophets that I put together!
Sat 26 *I am thankful Kent and I have been so blessed with the blessings of provident living. We have been able to find so many fruits and vegetables to make our own food storage this year. Thank you to all of you willing to share. Thank you to our parents and grandparents as well as my sister who passed on this skill and also thank you to my Heavenly Father for blessing my life daily!
Fri 25 *I am thankful that Kent and Braxton returned home safe and sound. I am also very grateful for a clean house and especially clean carpets!
Thur 24 *I am thankful for a fun and busy day with he Circus parade, temple square, and the gateway fountain. I am thankful that Jill was still around to help me find my car in the parking garage. I am also thankful for a wonderful date to see "Night at the Museum" with Kent.
Wed 23 *I am so thankful for a day where I feel like the only think that didn't go right was that I missed my planned run this morning. With a nice family walk this evening we fixed that. What a wonderful day. Thank you!
Tue 22 *I am thankful for a fun dance class provided by my friend Emily who threatened me she'd be mad if I didn't come and participate. Thanks Emily.
Mon 21 *I am thankful for a nice evening getting to visit with my co-worker Randy while we also were able to work and get things accomplished.
Sun 20 *I am thankful that I was able to rest and give my body a chance to fight off an awful sore throat today. I am also thankful to have the relief that modern medications like ibuprofen offer.
Sat 19 *I am thankful I was able to get jam made, bread made, and my house cleaned in such a short time.
Fri 18 *I am thankful I was able to make it to the temple early enough that I could do a session and still make it home to watch the babies. I'm sure the Lord was helping me get there.
Thur 17 *I am thankful to have a break from regular life. It is nice to have some time to myself. It is very relaxing.
Wed 16 *I am thankful to enjoy a night at the state fair with Braxton and Kent.
Tue 15 *I enjoyed a nice long walk to Walmart and then another walk with my neighbor tonight. I am thankful Braxton is such a good sport and enjoys getting out with me.
Mon 14 *I am thankful for Monday's when I am rested from the weekend and can get my house back in order.
Sun 13 *I am thankful for wonderful speakers in sacrament meeting today. Brenda Van and Stacey Jorgensen gave some great talks.
Sat 12 *I am thankful for my great sale at work tonight. It was nice to know how it feels to really help someone again.
Fri 11 *I have been blessed with a wonderful husband who is willing to help me get to work on time.
Thur 10 *I am thankful to have a lot of applesauce made to provide for my family. I am also thankful Kent was willing to turn off football so we could take Braxton to the park and wear off some energy.
Wed 9 *I am so lucky to have a wonderful husband who enjoys helping me do my canning. It was so nice to have Kent's help with applesauce tonight.
Tue 8 *I am thankful for a nice walk to the mall with Kent and Braxton. It was a longer walk than I thought so I am thankful for Kent's willingness to come and enjoy it without complaint.
Mon 7 *I am thankful to my friends Shawna and Annette for letting me come and pick apples for some applesauce. I am also thankful that we were home so Kent's brother Gordon had a place to stay after coming up to help Holly's brother who's son was at Primary Children's hospital.
Sun 6 *What a wonderfully enjoyable and peaceful day. It was nice to come home from church and not have the TV turned on very much on a Sunday.
Sat 5 *The Lord has blessed me and my family with protection this weekend. We were supposed to be camping at my Aunt's property, but due to weather we decided we'd better stay home. The weather never got too bad, but apparently there has been a bear up there getting into trouble. Had we been camping we would have been in a defenseless tent. I am thankful the Lord kept us safe from harm. I am also thankful for a wonderful night roasting marshmallows and hot dogs up the canyon instead of the camping.
Fri 4 *Today I was blessed to have Braxton's speech assessed. We will need to do further testing, but it is very nice to know that we are headed in the right direction with his learning. It's also been a wonderful blessing to get so many of the bills paid in times that are hard for so many. Thur 3 *I have been blessed to enjoy some time outside while completing a project.
Wed 2 *I am thankful I was able to organize my shopping list so that I could get my shopping done within an hour so I could get home and take my friends to the airport.
Tue 1 *I am grateful to my wonderful husband who took me out on a romantic and very fun double date tonight. It was so much fun to look out over the valley while visiting with great friends and eating fondue.
