Mon 30 *I am thankful for have my house clean again and have my fish lake stuff put away. I am also thankful to finally have the portage guide I have wanted for two years. I am thankful for the opportunity to go visit UVSC (now UVU) and have a lot of fun memories come flooding back.
Sun 29 *I am thankful for a fun family reunion and I am thankful to have enjoyed my son and husband.
Sat 28 *I am thankful that I was able to keep Braxton in the boat despite his desire to swim with the fishes. I am also thankful to Kent's Uncle Kevin for doing the slide show and movie Saturday night. We sure missed it this year and we missed them. No one else is allowed to have weddings in the future on that weekend.
Fri 27 *I am thankful for all the help Kent gave me in getting lunch ready and napping with Braxton so I could go play games with Ginger and Darcy.
Thur 26 *I am thankful for the strength of prayer. After a bad dream I felt the need to prayer and ask for the Lord's peace. I was blessed to feel his peace and fall back to sleep.
Wed 25 *I am thankful for the ability to get so much done today. Between packing, shopping, errand running, cooking, and cleaning we are almost ready to leave for Fish Lake tomorrow.
Tue 24 *I am thankful for my ability to be flexible enough to get in exercise late and adjust my schedule according to the needs of the day.
Mon 23 *I am thankful that Braxton is SO healthy. He had a great checkup today and it is so nice to have no concerns to discuss with his doctor.
Sun 22 *I am thankful to have my brother and sister and their families over to celebrate Braxton's birthday with us. I am also so thankful for my wonderful son who has brought me so much joy for the past two years. He is such a blessing and I can't imagine what life would be without his wonderful spirit!
Sat 21 *I am thankful to have found some great stuff for Braxton for his birthday. I am also thankful to Cheryl and Erik for watching Braxton so Kent and I could go to the temple.
Fri 20 *I am thankful for a day at the park and a possibility presented to me of a great opportunity. I am also very grateful to have Kent back home from scout camp. Braxton and I really missed him.
Thur 19 *I am thankful that our ward game night activity went well. We had fun playing waterballoon volleyball and kickball and the event was well attended.
Wed 18 *I am thankful we were able to get out of the house to do some shopping. I am also thankful to Melissa for giving Braxton a great haircut and for her suggestion that we all go out and treat ourselves to some Red Mango frozen yogurt! Yum!!
Tue 17 *I am thankful for water. I am thankful for what it does in my body to help me function and I am thankful for the fun and enjoyment if brought to Braxton and his cousins today. Braxton and Aaron thoroughly enjoyed the little swimming pool while the big kids played on the slip n slide.
Mon 16 *I am thankful I can go to Nordstroms about once every two years and spend 30-45 minutes with a wonderful sales associate and come out with a new bra that fits me well. That is my ultimate shopping experience. I LOVE it.
Sun 15 *I am thankful for the opportunity to go to Stake Conference and I am thankful for the example my parents have set before me so that missing out was not really a choice. I am also very thankful for my father, my son's father, and all of the father's and grandpa's in my life. Happy Father Day.
Sat 14 *I am thankful for the wonderful opportunity to serve my neighbor in helping her out with selling some of her things at the yard sale. I am also thankful for all of the wonderful toys she gave Braxton to enjoy as well as a few items for Kent and I. Overall I am thankful she is my neighbor.
Fri 13 *I am thankful Melissa watched Braxton for me so that Kent and I could go birthday shopping for him. It was a lot of fun to have that for our date night.
Thur 12 *I am thankful for my job at Eddie Bauer and the fact that is gets me out of the house when there isn't anything else to get me out.
Wed 11 *I am thankful to be able to get my dad a gift certificate at Eddie Bauer since we didn't have the shirt I wanted to get him for father's day. I am also thankful that we were able to get out and go to dinner tonight. Next time we will have to make a better restaurant selection.
Tue 10 *I am thankful for the enjoyment of watching my sisters kids and being happy and enjoying them today. I am also thankful for the sisterhood I felt at our Relief Society auction tonight.
Mon 9 *I am thankful for a fun night at the Bee's game with a few of the ward members and my family for family night. We had a good time.
Sun 8 *I am thankful for the fruits of my labor. Today I was able to wear a skirt one size smaller than those I have been wearing. My capri's that size fit also. It is so great to be dropping sizes finally!
Sat 7 *I am thankful for my husbands ambition to sort through things and take a load to Deseret Industries or DI (like Goodwill).
Fri 6 *I am thankful for bowling with Kent. It's so much fun to spend time with him and feel important in his life
Thur 5 *I am thankful that lately Kent has thought of me during the day and given me phone calls. While they may not be lengthy conversations and they may not be overly deep I appreciate his thoughtfulness.
Wed 4 *I am thankful for the beauty of green mountains and lawns and beautiful flowers that are all blessings from the rain that I have struggled with.
Tue 3 *I am thankful for the opportunity to get my house cleaned again. It's so nice to get on top of the chores.
Mon 2 *I am thankful for a wonderful family night miniature golfing. Braxton was a hoot chucking the ball with his hand and dropping the ball in the hole. I mean really who needs a club anyway. I love that boy.
