Soccer, Conference, School Spirit and Halloween in October 2024

 Fall Soccer
We love the joy of fall Saturdays when we get to watch Marshal play soccer!

LDS General Conference
For the General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we did a puzzle, had healthy and tasty snacks and learned about Mary Bommeli. Elder Eyring spoke about her, and I had to look her up. It turns out she died in Ephraim, and I told Braxton so he headed to the cemetery and found her headstone. I love that my son has learned to love family history! I also recorded some of my favorite quotes from the conference.

Spirit Week
Pajama Day...Dress like a teacher/student day... and neon day!

Halloween Fun
We had some fun with pumpkin carving,
decorating, and Halloween in general!

We love to spend time together!

A stormtrooper, a guy on vacation, and one of many emojis!

Life in October
A fun photo of Kent and I, we don't get too many of these... Bryce Cutler showing off his lazy eye... a family drive with Braxton in town... jam making... praying mantis... harvest time... ducks in a jeep... 4th grade class pet the chinchilla, Flash... and a comet I was able to see and photograph!

Woke history lessons are NOT my favorite!!!... and does it even surprise me that someone is running for President under the name of Lucifer?... Kids' slang today is SO weird... My Smart Watch is very encouraging!

The kids and I learned about the 3 Nephites and how they related to our own family history!

Marshal loved the opportunity to bring home the class chinchilla!

Be Real
We were really happy for Kent to be able to see his mission president,
President Ortega, while he was in town! It was fun to see him and his wife, as well as other missionaries, again!
