20th Wedding Anniversary
Kent and I kept trying to find the time and money to get away for
our 20th wedding anniversary. We were hoping for a weekend, but due
to circumstances we ended up getting away only for the day.

We did enjoy spending time with one another while enjoying the Salt Flats.

Kent was even kind enough to pull out a car that was stuck in the salt!

We also enjoyed visiting the beautiful Blue Lake!

We saw Wendover Will, an abandoned school bus and enjoyed some decorations, cheesecake
and a kind message from my little one!

Spring Break 2023
Gunlock State Park Falls
Zion's National Park
We had a wonderful weekend in St. George and enjoyed the beautiful
Gunlock Falls that don't happen every year. It was a beautiful area!

I was trying to get the boys to pose for a photo when the cute little girl in the green snuck in our photo. I figured why not just take the photo! It's the only way we'll get any more
girls in the family for a while. lol

Gunlock Falls

We went to check out the campsites around Gunlock Reservoir and while talking to the camp host she told us about a hike called The Vortex or the Bowls. We ended up enjoying a really great hike up to three pools of water and a I don't remember what fun they called it, but a valley of cairns.

We saw a lizard, amazing desert plants, and what seemed like a lot of
moss and lichen for a desert biome!

We loved to see how the water moved through the rocks!

There really were amazing views the entire hike! It was such a beautiful area!
I'd love to go back again!

The layers in the rock were intriguing also!

The boys really enjoyed exploring the massive cairns valley!
It was impressive!

Blue skies, red rocks, pools of water, stacked rocks and family...
...what could be any better!?!

The Vortex trail video

We enjoyed hiking the Emerald Pools!

When we were on the way up to the Upper Emerald Pool Marshal got ahead of us.
I can't tell you the level of anxiety, worry, and frustration that gave me.
Thankfully I was able to find him without too much time passing by.
Sometimes he is so hard to keep up with!

I was amazing how dirty the Virgin River was with all the water from this spring!
We also enjoyed photographing a bluebird and some cool cactus!

We love catching wildlife like this squirrel!

Weeping Rock Trail was a nice quick trail with beautiful views!

We did a small portion of the River Walk back by the entrance to the Narrows!

At the end of the trip, we made a quick stop to see the temple!

Life in March
Top Left: Sometimes I take pictures of me because I feel cute! Top Middle & Bottom Middle: Even though they took second place against Corner Canyon we loved being able to watch and support Aaron play for state! Top Right: My cute boy in his new baptism blanket. Center Photos: Rebecca and I took the YW to Yogurtland and the girls wanted to go see the dogs. Marshal came and well and loved seeing the puppies and took photos of them all! Bottom Left: Cort was called as the secretary of the Deacon's Quorum and Sister Henrie wanted to have a photo. I took the photo because I was laughing at how much taller Cort was than the others! lol Bottom Right: Marshal was so eager to leave that he took the keys and was sitting in the drivers seat.

Top Left: My friend Tami went to Roots Tech and brought me back this awesome shirt! lol Top Left Middle & Top Right Middle: The Terra Linda Student Council decided to temporarily color their hair. Cort was given the blue hair. Top Right: Aaron opened his mission call to Las Vegas, Nevada! Bottom Left & Bottom Right: Cort and I enjoyed a Utah Gymnastics Meet! Bottom Left Middle: There is a story with this and I am not sure if I'm getting it right. I believe that I told the boys to clean the bathroom better. When I asked Marshal about why the items in these containers were wet he told me that he used them to clean the bathroom and then put the things back in while it was still wet. Sometime directions are not quite thorough enough. lol Bottom Right Middle: WiO's kitchen made a mistake and forgot to add the yeast to the hamburger buns. They couldn't sell them so we all went home with a LOT of free hamburger buns! It was a great blessing! Center Right: This question was asked in a Podcast or Church Produced Video with Sister Bonnie H. Cordon and this is the answer she gave...either that or the one the Lord brought to my mind. I really liked the thought!

Top Left & Top Right & Bottom Left & Bottom Left Middle: There's nothing like rain and snow mixed to make a nice large puddle in the neighborhood! Center Left: I loved this quote! It is so true! Center Right & Bottom Right Middle & Bottom Right: I decided to watch Benny and Joon with Braxton and it was truly fun to see this blast from the past!

Top Left & Top Right & Bottom Left: We did pretty well with the March Madness brackets! Top Left Middle: Marshal seriously cracks me up with the way his brain thinks! Perhaps I should be scared, but I laugh! Top Right Middle: It turns out that more people are willing to miss their high school reunion than want to attend it. Bottom Left Middle: Kent accuses me of stealing the covers, but if I steal the covers then why are they have way gone when he's the only one in bed??? Bottom Right Middle: Knowing the scriptures really is a glorious prize! Bottom Right: It turns out the my friend Emily Stovall (who I met through Becca Kent) is actually my 5th cousin through the Smith line! Very cool!

BeReal
Just the daily BeReal's that I liked! lol

A few more "moments" in my day!
