Saratoga Temple 2.0
We loved joining Grandma and Grandpa and Jonathan and Liesel's family to tour the temple!
We were even joined by a butterfly to remind us of God's love since butterflies remind them of Remington!

Salem Ponds &
50th Wedding Anniversary Dinner
Top Left, Top Right, Center, Bottom Left, & Bottom Right: Such a beautiful area on a beautiful day! Top Middle: We decided Mom & Dad needed a cake for their anniversary! What better way is there to celebrate? Center Left, Center Right, & Bottom Middle: We had a great time kayaking on the pond!

Such a beautiful day at Salem Pond!

Top Left, Top Middle, Bottom Left, & Bottom Right: We enjoyed dinner together at the Olive Garden as a family. Top Right & Bottom Middle: More photos of our beautiful day at the pond.

Rainy Days & Oquirrh Lake
We decided to spend a Sunday afternoon at Oquirrh Lake and it was a beautiful day to be there!

The kids even had a little fun playing on a modern-day merry-go-round!

Beautiful flowers, beautiful skies, beautiful birds, and fun at the park!
Nothing better than that with my family!

I just love seeing the beauty in the things around me!

There's nothing like new babies in the spring!

More of God's beautiful creations to enjoy!

Memorial Day Celebrations
We always love going to the Cemetery to remember loved ones!

We thought we found Shanalea's mom Kay, but it turned out it was actually someone named Kai. We did find a rainbow made by a sprinkler and a distantly related Robison!

Wolf Puzzle
Ashley always has to make us do the hard puzzles! lol
Either way, my boys got to work and did it!

WJ Choir Tour
to San Diego
Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego

Top Left & Bottom Right Middle: Braxton apparently liked the pirate and skulls and other random knick-knacks and souvenirs because he had a few photos of those. Top Middle: The side of the pyramid at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. Top Right: View from the USS Midway in San Diego. Center Left: The Rady Shell at Jacob's Park. Bottom Left: The Bellagio Hotel fountains in Las Vegas. Bottom Left Middle: Who knew the humidity would create so many curls! Bottom Right: The obelisk inside of the pyramid at the Luxor Hotel.

Flagship Bay Cruise on the California Spirit Ship

I think for the most part he had an enjoyable trip, but if the truth be told we missed him and had to track him half the way home because we were happy to have him back!
Also, he brought home another hat! 😂😂😂

Braxton's video of Balboa Park

Life in May
Top Left: Marshal helping his class quiet down! Top Left Middle: Family Selfies! Top Right Middle: I am quite attractive when I am laughing. lol Top Right: We were so happy to be able to support Aaron for his graduation! Bottom Left: Cort was added to a friend texting group on my phone. It's all girls and Cort...those are some very chatty girls!!! These were texts from one day! Bottom Left Middle: Selfie Time. Bottom Right Middle: Just learning on my man! Bottom Right: I got a new Mother's Day dress.

Top Left & Top Left Middle: Braxton was called to be on the West Jordan High School Seminary Council. Top Left & Top Middle & Top Right & Bottom Right Middle: Marshal picked a flower from the snowball bush and some of the vinca off my plant in the back. I thought they looked good floating in this vase. Bottom Left & Bottom Left Middle & Center Right & Bottom Right: Our backdoor neighbor Linda asked if she could put up a vinyl fence. We were happy to let her do so and enjoyed the space and neighbor's yards while the fence was down.

Top Left: Kent made yummy ribs for dinner! Top Middle & Top Right & Center Top Right & Center Bottom Right: Photos of my gardens as they start to green up with all the snow and rain we've had this spring. Bottom Left: I saw this photo at Costco and was so tempted to get it because sometimes I REALLY identify with that black sheep! lol Bottom Left Middle: Peacock display time! Checking out Peacocks videos...

Nothing like a cute kid videoing the neighborhood peacocks! lol

Top Left & Bottom Middle & Bottom Right: Braxton had a poor grade in his History class which was completely out of character for him. After seeking answers from the teacher we found out that his teacher gave him a wrong grade. I was ready to fight that battle for him to bring up his grade if I had to though! Either way, I'm glad we could get this worked out! Top Right & Bottom Left: These two Senior quotes from the yearbook made me laugh. I can't believe that my son will be a Senior next year! 😳

The April of Winter 2023 When We Weren't Sure If Spring Was Coming

April Snow Storm
This winter has been crazy with snow and unending!
We have sure been blessed though because we needed this moisture!

Finding Ancestors
What do you do when your kid has a party in Provo and you are taking him?
You don't go find your ancestors in the Provo Cemetery too?

Marshal, Kent and I did have a lot of fun searching for the rest of our ancestors!

Of course the local cemetery deer where still here! lol

I also enjoyed the cool military tribute they have!

West Jordan
High School Prom
This month brought an introduction to Braxton's friend Serena.

They had a good time going bowling, out to dinner and to the Prom.

I had no idea he could pose so well! What a good looking guy!

Easter Saturday
I didn't expect that my Junior in High School would be as into an Easter Egg Hunt
at this point as his brothers...but he was! lol

Saratoga Springs
Temple Tour
I love taking my family to the temple and I look forward to the day
that I can take them through for their own ordinances!

Life in April
Top Left & Top Middle: Marshal was so happy to be the goalie for his soccer game! Top Right & Bottom Right Middle & Bottom Right: A little fighting with Marshal on the couch. Bottom Left & Bottom Left Middle: Cort made this design on his own, and Marshal's commentary is hilarious as usual!

We enjoyed attending and supporting the Beauty and the Beast Play that Braxton and Cort tried out for. We laughed when Lumiere looked and acted a lot like Kent's nephew Kade! The bubbles of text notifications are from a group thread thread that Cort was added to. All girls except Cort. Those girls are CHATTY!!!

Top Left: Kent is still taller...for now! Top Middle: Just me! Top Right: These two definitely see eye to eye! Bottom Left: This cute kid is ready to go to school! Bottom Left Middle & Bottom Right Middle: Marshal has been really enjoying reading poems by Shel Silverstein. Bottom Right: These two sure do have fun with one another!

Top Left & Bottom Left: We went to Pizza Pie Cafe for the elementary spirit night and ran into these cute girls there! It was so fun to see Lexi and Layla! Top Middle & Top Right: This quail perched on top of the basketball hoop and was chirping at me. It was pretty funny. Bottom Middle: Marshal is sure good at rolling up like a burrito at night! Center Right: We found a photo of Kent from before his mission and wanted to see if Kent and Braxton look alike at all. Bottom Right: The peacock was shading himself in the shade of the bush in front of Scott's house. It was nearly camouflaged.

Having fun with our ugly selfies and enjoying Marshal's basketball skills!

Top Left: Braxton's choir presenting for District competition at Herriman High School. They did an amazing job! Top Middle: We had a family meeting and these are the goals that the boys said they have in their lives. Top Right: Liesel sent this Marco Polo and I had to take a screenshot because I loved the face Rachel made so much! lol Bottom Left: We went over to the Blackburn's and Truman and his friends wound him up in Saran Wrap so well that Rebe had to cut him out! Bottom Left Middle: I tried to do my hair fancy and ended up looking like a polygamist. Bottom Right Middle & Bottom Right: For Grandma Holdaway's 100th birthday a few of us choose to go to the Jordan River Temple! It was really nice to be in the temple with family!
