Always Busy "May"cember 2022

Kyli Snow College Graduation
It's always a joy when we get the opportunity to celebrate the lives of the people we love and their accomplishments! We were happy to be there to celebrate Kyli's graduation from college.

Mother's Day Gifts
Marshal made me this fun mother's day gift. I love to see who I am in the eyes of my children.

I felt pretty spoiled this Mother's Day. Lots of plants to plant in my yard and new dresses, a shirt and cardigan and skirts for church this summer! I also had to add the photo of the laundry basket in the garage because I was headed to the laundry room and got distracted so I ended up with the laundry basket in the garage. Oh this brain of mine. lol 😆

Cort's First Broken Bone
Nothing like a broken arm to start your summer with. Poor guy broke both bones!

He is such a funny kid!

Cort's Choir Concert
I am so grateful that I have kids who enjoy music! Choir concerts are a treat for me. I'm also thankful for Cort's good friend Jomei Green!

Profile Pic App
I found this app that was going around on Facebook so I decided to give it a try.
Some of the photos I really liked...

...other photos made me realize just how fake the app was,
and some of them didn't even seem to look like me.
All the fun of technology.

End of Soccer
I want to laugh and cry when I look at these photos.
#1. Why it took us so long to take a photo of the kids without the sun in their eyes makes me laugh.
#2. Life is full of unexpected turns. Who knew the week before Cort broke his arm that I would be watching his last soccer game? 😢 At the end of the season his coach's kids decided to do the more competitive league and when they invite the other kids to try out Cort decided that he didn't want to play in a harder league. Without his teammates and coach he wasn't too interested in playing soccer anymore. I have really enjoyed watching Cort and his team grow. Cort says he'd love to do karate, but we will see if I am brave enough to spend all that money on a possible interest in a sport.

Levi and Shylee
Bridal Shower and Wedding Fun
Top Left and Top Right Middle and Bottom Left: Rachel cracked us all up with her precision yoga moves. It was very cute! Top Left Middle: Hooray! I even got invited to the wedding dinner. Now Levi has to let me come. lol Top Right: Austin felt bad for Cort and decided to join him, by crashing while mountain biking. Bottom Left Middle and Bottom Right Middle: Michelle was really enjoying her cupcake. Bottom Right: I really like the banner that I made for Levi and Shylee's shower!

Top Left: Kylie was really cute playing with and keeping track of Rachel. Top Left Middle and Top Right Middle and Bottom Left: Levi and Shylee had some really cute photos that I couldn't help taking some of my own. Top Right and Bottom Right and Bottom Left Middle: Good old decorating the car with "sexy" balloons. Center and Bottom Right Middle: I'm not sure if Marshal being so excited to learn how to mix Italian Sodas should worry me or not, but the lady was really nice to show him how.

We had so much fun playing with Liesel and Jonathan and the girls at Lodestone Park. We wish we could spend time with them more often!

Cute Maddy taking a walk!

Choir Tour to Disneyland
Braxton had lots of sights to see and share with us as he headed to Anaheim, California. It was fun to get his pictures of Vegas. Made me want to go back for a visit.

Braxton was finally in Disneyland and he sent me a photo of Marshal's "Little Red Wagon."

Huntington Beach Sunset taken by Braxton.

Braxton trying to make me jealous by sending photos of himself at the beach.
It worked!

I do love a sunset on the beach!

Memorial Day Weekend
Marshal making videos without us even knowing that he's doing it. 😂

Enjoying the Memorial Day Car Show with my boys and Marshal got to being along his friend Blaze. We enjoyed the cars, the music and even the rain.

It was fun to watch them enjoy the different cars.

It was a pretty wet weekend, but we still enjoyed the cemetery.
My shoes were pretty wet!

Life in May
Marshal love to tease Kent and I that we are old because we are from "the 80's!!!"

Top Left and Bottom Left Middle: Kent enjoyed working with his therapists so much that he even asked to take a photo of them. The guys name is Tyson and the girls name is Katie. Top Left Middle and Top Right Middle and Bottom Right Middle: Marshal wanted to check out Google Earth on the computer and decided to check out our neighborhood. Imagine our surprise when Marshal said he saw Braxton on Google Earth! Top Right: I have been getting better at walking Dusty lately, but she is old and has a hard time keeping up. Poor girl! Bottom Left: Braxton finally got braces on. Lucky him...at least he'll have a beautiful straight smile when they are done. Center Right: Uncle Ken got remarried and told us we could have his rocking chairs, so I got really excited about moving this chair to my bedroom, but when we went to pick things up Ken said that Jan's kids had wanted them and we agreed that it was right they should have them. But I still would have loved to have had them so I could haul this chair to my bedroom. Bottom Right: Kent making jam! YUM!

Top Left and Top Right: Had to document some good hair days. Middle: President Nelson spoke to the young adults and this was the huge line of young adults waiting to get it. It was great to see such a great response to wanting to listen to the prophet. Bottom Left: Marshal had to stop and smell the flowers...literally! Bottom Left Middle: I LOVED this cute photo of Florence on Facebook. I had to steal it. Bottom Right: Braxton carrying the Jenga blocks at the park.

Top Left and Left Middle and Bottom Left Middle and Bottom Right Middle: The Young Women had a good time bowling in the dark. It was fun to see the girls having such a good time dressing up in glowsticks. Top Left Middle: I love to see the temple! Especially when the world seems so dark. Center Left: I took Braxton to his first job interview. He interviewed for an internship at the library and unfortunately didn't get it because of his age, but they encouraged him to apply for another position when he turned 16. Top Right Middle: We had snow in May. Crazy weather. Top Right: It kills me to pay $4.29 for fuel! 😖 Bottom Left: Nothing like scraping the car windows in May! Center Right: Kent either laughing at his kids or being embarrassed. lol I'm pretty sure he was laughing. Right Middle: I love this note from Marshal saying, "I love you so, so, so, so, so much!" Bottom Right: Here was the front on the note.

More stats from my weight loss efforts and trying to get my steps in. Also in the Top Middle Right and Center: These photos are of an activity we did in Relief Society. We had mental health professionals come and talk with us. This grounding activity was very eye opening. All the things I were worried about with Kent changing jobs were taken away and replaced with peace and assurance when I took a few minutes to ground myself.
