February Full of Fun in Twenty-21

Guys Road Trip

Kent and Jonathan took a fast road trip from Salt Lake to Ohio to drop off mom and dad's van at Jonathan's parents house. While there they loaded up Jonathan's parents old 50's Chevy and took it back to New Mexico so that Jonathan can restore it for their 50th Wedding Anniversary.

Kent sent a few photos of their trip; the truck loaded on his trailer,
Remington's headstone, an Amish store and some cool bridges.

Valentine's Day & Mom's Birthday

Valentine's day was full of seafood, sledding and Cort making his own digital Valentine's Day Cards. For my birthday Kent sent me flowers...that came one day early. lol

Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management

Someone added me to a Facebook group about Utah's Wildlife and I have loved seeing all the pictures they post. It made me want to start exploring our beautiful state more. We started with the Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management. It was amazing to see so many different birds.

We loved seeing the Bald Eagles and the Blue Herons and all the other amazing falcons and songbirds. Not to mention the humerous seagulls.

We were also amazed to see Swans out on the water. At first we thought there was still snow on the water but after closer looking we realized there were a ton of swans.

The scenery out there that day was very beautiful as well.

We got a good kick out of the Blue Herons that were nesting on these perches.

We enjoyed watching as a swan flew overhead and the geese flew in their V formation.

This falcon was amazing to watch as it hunted for food.

We enjoyed more scenery and I even laughed at the spider web growing off the light in the bathroom. While doing some more exploring in hopes of seeing some Bald Eagles close up we just happened to run into the sign for the church where Tia's funeral was held.
It made me so happy to remember her on this nice day.

Marshal's 6th Birthday

For Marshal's birthday I went through his pictures from the previous year. He had some of the greatest photos...who ever said that mom's stop taking photos after the first two kids! Ha ha

5-year-old Marshal pictures from the spring...

Marshal in the summer...

More Marshal summer photos...

Marshal in the fall...

And Marshal in the Winter.

Plus you can't forget all the funny things that he says...

He cracks us up!

For his birthday we took the family out to Top Golf and had a lot of fun.
The staff even did a good job of helping us celebrate.

Cort made Marshal a Happy Birthday banner for his 6th birthday. We had cake and ice cream and we can't forget that Marshal wrote his birthday on the family calendar. 😂

Life in February

It's important when showering that you collect everything you need before getting in. While trying to get my razor I reached a little too far and fell onto the edge of the tub. It left a REALLY nasty bruise. I also had to take photos of my efforts to style my hair and the new fake lashes that I bought.

Cort got caught by the camera as he was pulling out a cereal bowl. Marshal was pretending to play Deer Pong with his best friend Greyson. I'm glad he made the fake game close but in true Marshal fashion he did make sure to win. ha ha Marshal with his friend Gloria at her house.
He sure loves his friends.

Just some things I liked from Facebook and life as I wander around this world in this day and age. There is so much craziness in this world right now that I figured I would document some of it and I just have to cling onto the things that bring me joy as show those as well.

Beautiful World in February

“February days are a marketing gimmick; love happens every day.”

Randeep Hooda

"You know you're in love when you don't want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams."

Dr. Seuss

“Even winter, the hardest season, the most implacable, dreams, as February creeps on, of the flame that will presently melt it away. Everything tires with time and starts to seek some opposition, to save it from itself.”
 Clive Barker

“While it is February one can taste the full joys of anticipation. Spring stands at the gate with her finger on the latch.”
Patience Strong

“February is the border between winter and spring.”
Terri Guillemets

I can hardly wait for spring! 💗
