Easter at Home April 2020

Easter Egg Hunt
With COVID 19 taking over Easter was at home this year.
It was a little anti-climatic but it was also nice to just enjoy our boys!

A Visit to Kanosh Cemetery
Uncle Travis told Kent he needed some barrels so Kent called up his barrel guy Brian and got some barrels for him. We didn't dare stop much anywhere on our drive but we decided to use the trip as an opportunity to visit some of the relatives who couldn't catch Covid 19. We also found some of my family names in Kanosh and some interesting headstones.

Levi's Homecoming
We were so excited about Levi coming home that we made a sign and held it up on the skywalk over Bangerter by Elk Ridge. We also took our nerf guns and made our drive-by a "drive-by shooting". It was a lot of fun!

Lifting Up Our Neighbors
One day on a bike ride the idea came to me to have the girl's decorate the fences along 90th South.
It was a fun activty and one of the first in person activities we'd had in a long time.
The girl's did a great job!

Life in April
For general conference we did a Hosanna Shout which is usually only done when we dedicate temples. This explaination of a Hosanna Shout was circulating and I thought it was a nice explanation. I am so thankful for the opportunity to listen to apostles and prophets.

Top Left: For conference I decided to treat myself to homemade gluten free doughnuts.
They were ok but not great. Top Middle: I had these thoughts written from the previous conference in October 2019 that I thought were ironic since we are now taking the sacrament in our homes and we aren't able to gather together. Top Right: I sat down with the kids and we looked at all the ways this trial has been a blessing in our lives. Bottom Left: We often do puzzles during conference and we really enjoyed this one that we got for Easter. Bottom Middle: I really liked this quote from Elder Uchtdorf. Bottom Right: We set up a table to took some notes from conference.

My kids are funny!
Top Left: Kent replaced our fence on the north side of the house so Marshal pulled out his construction tools so he could help! Top Right: We've started working on chores and Marshal wrote out his chores so I could see what his chore was while I was still in bed. ha ha Bottom Left: Apparently Marshal was worried that Kent and I would die of Coronavirus but when he heard it was people older than 40 he was relieved. In fact he was so relieved that he told some ward members who happened to be walking by the house. Bottom Middle: We've been doing some house updates so Kent turned off the power and Cort told Marshal he could turn the water on because I guess he thinks that the two are related. lol Bottom Right:When we go to my mom and dad's house they have an Alexa and Marshal loves to have her play Feliz Navidad since that's what he sang for his preschool Christmas song. Apparently he thought Cort needed Alexa in order to sing it.
Guess sometimes I make life a little overwhelming. lol

Top Left: We enjoyed Nachos for dinner one Sunday it was an idea we got from Peter and Adrianne Jones. Top Left Middle: Marshal is such a cute little guy!Top Right Middle: Braxton was getting creative with the K'Nex we borrowed from Grandma and Grandpa Kunz to keep us entertained for conference. Top Right: Marshal didn't care for the broccoli I made him eat. This is how I found out.  Bottom Left: Marshal seems to love bandaids these days. The one on his forehead is legit since he cut his head open falling off his bike. Probably could have used stitches but with the Covid craziness I opted for steri-strips and medical grade glue Kayleen Whitelock was able to help with.Bottom Left Middle: With online schooling preschool style Marshal was asked to show a favorite book. He choose Peter Rabbit. Bottom Right Middle: When we had an earthquake last month I realized how unprepared I was not having any 72 hour kits because we threw them out when the rat got into our garage and we had the bed bugs. We bought some new backpacks and got our kits made. Marshal was pretty excited! Bottom Right: Marshal showing off his glasses and mustache.

The youngest boys have been sharing a bedroom while we work on redoing Marshal's room. They've been pretty good at making their beds and even made beds for their stuffed animals. It was nice to finally get Marshal's room finished! I've been playing with different hair styles and growing it out since we can't get haircuts. I also tried out a very stuffy mask with a bandana.

Top Left: This is what our home sacrament looks like. I wanted to remember these days and the joy of being able to take the sacrament at home.Top Middle: We doorbell ditched some cookies off to the Hickman's who were able to move back from Canada just in time. Top Right: We found a surprise tulip mixed in with the june bushes. Bottom Left: Marshal was enjoying being creative. Bottom Middle Photos: We had a very bright star that turned out to be the planet Mercury. Bottom Right: We experienced a few more tremors after our earthquake's last month.
