Hot Summer Nights! July 2019

The Riverton Parade

We had a great time with the Jones family at the Riverton Parade

Marshal really enjoyed seeing the parade and playing with the dogs next to us.

The 4th of July
We love enjoying the neighborhood bike parade and watching fireworks.
This year we were happy to have the Stewart family join us for fireworks at the high school.

Marshal and I took a walk and got some amazing photos of the overcast sky.

Fun with the Kent Family
We enjoyed some time with the Kent family. There was swimming at a neighbors amazing pool down the street from Tami and a barbecue with Becca and Jason's family at Emily's in-law's property. While in Tami's neighborhood I even saw a deer. All kinds of fun.

Rebecca Chapman's 60th
In true Rebecca Chapman form there was a grand celebration for her 60th birthday. Rebecca is amazing at making birthday's into something special!

Kent Family Sunday dinner
We enjoyed a little Kent family time all to ourselves.
They came over for Sunday dinner and games.

Becca's boys enjoyed our bearded dragons!

Welcome Home Michaela!
We were so happy to welcome home Michaela from her mission to NYC!

Her family was especially happy to see her!

While at the airport Dad found the son of a family he had baptized in Australia.
What a wonderful addition to a missionary homecoming!

Michaela made some lifelong friends while she was teaching the gospel!

At her homecoming speech the kids had some fun playing video games together!

Cub Scout Day Camp
Cort had a good time with the cub scouts at cub camp.

They enjoyed the obstacle course at the end.

I was glad Adrianne Stewart went the second day and sent me these pictures!

Holdaway Family Reunion
I always enjoy the opportunity to get together with my extended family.

Pioneer Day Float Preview
It was fun to spend some time with my family checking out the Pioneer Day floats!

Kent and I enjoyed seeing the float that Bob and Kristy Hobson and their stake put together.
Braxton and Cort enjoyed the tortoise and the hare race.

24th of July Celebration
Meadow/Kanosh
My little boys enjoyed riding on the long horse.
We borrowed the Jones' ice shaver and took it down for some snow cones!
That seemed to be a welcomed idea!
With the clouds in Meadow came some welcome cooler weather and some beautiful scenery!

I enjoyed some amazing skies on our way home from Meadow.
It was a nice day spent with family having fun.

We came home to a party next door. Cort was happy to watch fireworks with Kaysden and his cousin.

Life in July
Cort and Marshal spent much of the month in swim lessons. Cort passed level 3 and started on level 4. He'll try level 4 again next year for more practice and more confidence. Marshal passed off level 1 and started level 2. He will work on level 2 again next summer. A couple of pictures show how Marshal sure likes his sauces! The last picture on the bottom right was when Marshal came out to tell us how his bedroom overhead light ran out of batteries and wasn't working. He is one funny kid!

Cort enjoyed jumping off the high dive!

It was so fun to see my former roommate Heather Christensen! I love spending time with her! Marshal started Upstart and enjoyed being able to do school work on the computer!

Top left: We were lucky enough to get this new light fixture from Brian and Jen and I love how artistic it looks from the bottom up.
Top middle: Marshal wasn't being nice with his toy gun so Braxton placed it on top of the fan to get it away from him. Marshal being the clever boy that he is turned the fan on to get his gun back. He got the gun back alright. It came down right into the bearded dragons cage. OOPS! Not exactly a purchase we had planned on making this summer. Oh well!
Top Right: We enjoyed getting berries off of our June bush.
Bottom Left: Scott offered us some cherries and we were so excited until we found that there were a lot of worms in the cherries.
Bottom Right: Marshal's door was hard to open. Turns out there were a LOT of toys in the way!

When you learn a great new phrase in Spanish you have to share it with your husband. lol

Beautiful July
This month brought some amazing skies with lots of colors!
