Fabulous February!

February is full of fantastic things...for starters...
My Birthday!
There were some difficulties attached to the days leading up to my birthday this year. I am so thankful for heavenly and earthly angels who made my day a special one!
#1. I was able to find humor in Marshal getting into the toilet paper.
#2. My good friends Syrina Starr and Kristen Hickman dropped by the plants and Twix. I was so thankful for their thoughtfulness!
#3. My family and I were able to go see Trolls and enjoy time together at the movies.
#4. I really wanted to go out to a pizza joint for my dinner birthday after the movie. I could not think of anywhere to go, but I told Kent to head for home and I'd see if there was somewhere I wanted to eat along the way. I found The Junction on 70th and just West of the freeway. It felt like an answer to my prayers. While we were there a woman received a surprise from what seemed like someone she hadn't seen in a long while. He unexpected squeal of joy made my heart happy and allowed me to find even more joy in my day.

Valentine's Day

Scouts
We enjoyed the time and effort that went into the Blue and Gold Banquet. Mary and the rest did such a great job with the dinner and decorations. Braxton also enjoyed making a cake for the event.

Marshal's 2nd Birthday
What do you get for your birthday dinner when you are two?
Chicken nuggets, Sauce, and carrots!

Braxton got Marshal a stuffed dog that he loved and Cort got him to broom set to help mom sweep which he was also excited about.
Kent and I got him some clothes and a new big boy car seat!

More Birthday Celebrations
We invited the Kunz family over to celebrate the
many birthdays from the first of the year and first of spring.

We caught a lot of teenagers hanging out on their phones which made me laugh,
but probably only because I'm not the one with a teenager. lol

Life in February
Top Right: Marshal decided to take up a collection in my food storage.
Top Middle: Marshal was made at me...most likely because I thought he might like his chicken nuggets better warmed...The Nerve!
Two on the right: I help out at recess with the kindergarten and the kids were intrigued with the swirling leaves. They said it was a tornado!
Bottom Middle: Travis set up a fun volleyball game at the pod & Marshal fell asleep in the car on the way home from Fillmore.
Bottom Left: My funny little boy likes to look out the window when I put him down for a nap. Thankfully he often does end up in his bed asleep.
