March is a wonderful time as things begin to come back to life again!
We had the wonderful opportunity to attend the open house of the Provo City Center Temple.
It is a beautiful temple! Braxton had an interesting experience. There were some anti-Mormon protesters outside the temple holding sign against Joseph Smith. Braxton told me he felt really creepy as we walked by those men. We took the opportunity to explain the difference in having the Holy Ghost with you and not having the Holy Ghost with you. I was a wonderful day!
It was fun to stop by and see my younger brother on our way home. He lives in the apartments where I lived when I went to school. After so many years they seemed so tiny.
There's a story here: So I had this great idea to block off an area where Marshal could play just next to the bathroom door so I could still hear him while I took a shower. For some reason it hadn't occurred to me that he would come into the bathroom and hop in the shower with me clothes and all. All the joys of toddlers. The picture in the red pajamas is another day when he was tempted to dive into the bath, but I caught him!
For St. Patrick's Day a leprechaun left us a yard full of shamrocks and this fun pot of gold.
It was a fun surprise for us all and I'm thinking next year we may have to pass along the fun!
This year at the Pinewood Derby Kent took advantage of Grayson Blackham's shop day and that investment paid off. Braxton ended up taking 4th place. He was a pretty proud kid!
It's not often the power goes out, but when it does it is hard to get your kids to stay in bed. We had a good time living up our power outage and seeing how well prepared we were for not electricity. Luckily it was not out for long.
This year was the first year Marshal was big enough to (sort of) hunt for eggs. Unfortunately Braxton got sick so Kent and Cort went to Meadow and Braxton and Marshal and I stayed home. We ended up going with the Starr and Hickman families to Herriman to hunt for eggs. Easter was early this year so we got to hunt in the snow.
Here's Cort hunting for eggs in the snow in Fillmore.
Dad and Marshal enjoying our visit to the aquarium.
Braxton and Cort enjoyed a few trips on the rope bridge.
Ta-da! Success!
Just a few pics of our life in March! They say there's never any pictures of the third child, but I appears that is not a problem for me. lol
