Braxton loves to play in the snow and thought it would be fun to play with the umbrella.
Before we went to Grandma Robison's for Easter we had a pre-Easter egg hunt practice.

I do have an odd kid at times.
Check it out mom, I am a pro at this egg finding business!
Half way through the month Kent, Braxton, and I took a family vacation down to Bryce's Nation Park (for an hour due to snow still on the ground), then on to Uncle Gordon's house and back home through Zion's National Park.

Believe it or not this IS Kent happy to be on vacation.
We had to try out the new camera since I forgot to pack ours and we needed a new one anyway.
Thankfully Braxton is able to show his excitement.
This is me taking a self portrait.
Bryce's National Park was beautiful as we entered and I wish it had been just a

Mom to save the day!
There is nothing more precious than Braxton walking side by side with his dad.
He sure loves him.
Don't be jealous of his great sense of fashion.
My boys!

Friday after we got to Kanab we went & played at the park in town and then it was home for dinner and after we went to Johnson Canyon to check out lots and lots of deer. Braxton loved looking through the binoculars for them. We all enjoyed the drive.
Nothing like an old western movie set out in the middle of nowhere.
Checking out the deer.
Saturday we did a Discovery Toys open house at Holly's house. Despite the fact that it gave her stress and anxiety it was a good party. After that we went to watch the Kanab High Alumni baseball games. IT WAS A BLAST. After spending the whole afternoon with Braxton and Kent at the baseball field I felt like I was more in love with Kent than ever!
On the way home we drove through Zion's National Park and loved seeing the rocks on the East side of the park. It was a real treat because it was free park weekend.
You can't deny Kent even enjoyed himself.
We stopped at the shuttle bus stop and took a ride up the canyon to the Emerald Pools.
It was about a 2 miles hike up and back and Braxton hiked most of it. He did great!
This is the bottom pool.

It's always amazing to me what mother nature can do.
