Ballooning, Back to School, and the Beginning of College Life in August 2024

Storm Mountain
Sandy Balloon Festival
We had fun watching and helping with the balloons. Who knew that helping with the Chick-fil-A ballooon would get us a free sandwich?

Back to School
This year, when the kids went back to school, so did I! Cort is an 8th grader, Marshal is in 4th grade, and I am teaching from Kindergarten to 5th grade as a Walk to Read aid! I'm so excited!

Middle Kid in the Middle of the Middle School.
He's grown a lot in a year!
Marshal is going from 3rd to 4th grade and changing from the neighborhood school
to a school with an ALPS program. This will be a good change for him!

Taking Braxton to College
I can't believe that we are here! My oldest is heading to college!
I hope I've done all I can to prepare him for this! Love him!

Life in August
We love growing our own blackberries... Marshal made a "tent" to sleep in... He's a good help with watering our berries... I love how his brain always makes life related to sports. He was talking about being 16 lbs. when he was born... more hanging out in the back of the truck.

He's such a funny kid!

Loud helicopters over WiO...Cort at Lagoon with his new FSY friends... Cort gaining height on Braxton... Kent got pulled to Braxton's singles ward by accident 😂... At the Utah Area’s 2024 conference for young single adults in Salt Lake City, 31,384 people (now a Guinness World Record) shared messages of love on a massive birthday card for President Nelson. We were able to share our birthday wishes online as well. For a service project requested by the stake, we were asked to donate food, and were requested to give milk. Kent stopped at Gossner's on his way back from camp and picked up all these boxes of milk!
